Job Summary

Monitoring Centre Operators are the heart of our 24/7 protection promise. You'll respond to alarm signals, assess each event, contact clients and emergency services, and document every action with precision. This role demands composure under pressure, sharp judgement, and genuine care for the people on the other end of the line.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Additional Educational Requirements

Successful completion of our internal ULC monitoring certification program, provided during onboarding.

Experience

Experience in a call centre, dispatch, emergency services, or customer service environment is preferred. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal communication and active-listening skills.
  • Calm, decisive judgement in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong computer literacy and accurate data entry.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.

Criminal Background Checks

A clean criminal background check is required for all monitoring centre staff given the sensitive, security-critical nature of the role.

Physical Demands

Primarily a seated, computer-based role within our monitoring centre. Requires extended periods at a workstation and the ability to remain alert and focused throughout each shift.
